The New Advances in HRS/AKI: Clinical Update and Expert Recommendations will deliver focused, educational updates highlighting clinically relevant advances in the management of patients with HRS. Internationally renowned clinicians will lead the development of educational content and will serve as program faculty. The initiative will deliver emerging science and incorporate expert opinions on best practices for the diagnosis and management of patients with HRS.

Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of hepatologists, nephrologists, intensivists, hospitalists, and pharmacists involved in the care of patients with hepatorenal syndrome (HRS).
Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:
- Implement an early proactive diagnosis of HRS considering new guidelines (i.e., AASLD 2021, ACG 2022)
- Discuss the proper fluid status assessment and management, specifically regarding albumin
- Deliver the management of HRS considering new treatment options, outcomes of interest
