The Gastroenterology & Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers (GHAPP) association is dedicated to developing educational programs, providing professional advancement services, and assembling resources for—and guided by—advanced practice providers (APPs).

Please select “Register/Take Course” to complete the following:

Upon completion, you will receive your accreditation certificate. 

The pre-test will close on Friday, September 30, at 8:00 AM CST.

The post-program activities will become available on Saturday, October 1, at 1:00 PM CST

*If you have participated in the IBD 101 Boot Camp and/or Hepatology 101 Boot Camp, you must complete the accreditation requirements under their specific course pages.

All boot camp registrants will receive an email with access to the accreditation platform to complete the action items to claim credits and program certificates. 

 

Goal Statement

The objective of the GHAPP conference is to bring together APPs for an in-depth review and discussion on the latest developments and important current concepts in the multidisciplinary treatment of patients with GI disorders and chronic liver disease. The conference will exclusively feature expert APP speakers and will offer an interactive learning environment to facilitate interaction between attendees and faculty on the most clinically relevant topics ranging from viral hepatitis, NASH, cirrhosis, and GI disorders: IBD, IBS, and OIC.

Target Audience

Nurse practitioners and physician assistants involved in the management of patients with GI disorders and chronic liver disease.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Describe current screening, diagnosis, and management options for patients with CLD and GI disorders.
  • Optimize treatment results for patients with CLD and GI disorders.
  • Compare and contrast currently available treatment modalities for CLD and GI disorders.

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower and Gastroenterology & Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers. The Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

A maximum of 11.00 ANCC contact hour(s), which includes 4.25 hours of pharmacology, may be earned for successful completion of this activity.

Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 11.00 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
